Tenant won't move out in Oklahoma

After a definite written term expires or a tenancy is properly terminated, a tenant who remains without consent may be subject to an immediate possession action under § 111(D). A new agreement, accepted rent, or continued-occupancy consent can change the tenancy. A generic additional holdover notice is not required on this ground. 41 O.S. § 111(C)–(E); 12 O.S. § 1148.1

Verify the actual written term or earlier termination notice and service.

Check renewal conditions, rent acceptance, and consent.

Preserve proof of continued occupancy and the established end date.

Recover possession through District Court and lawful enforcement.

What happens next

The workflow separates established holdover from unclear termination, consent, and existing court cases. The next step is court preparation on supported facts; no extra generic notice is generated.
